The latest edition of the National Cancer Programme bulletin has been issued today. The bulletin aims to provide updated information about policy developments and implementation news for the National Cancer Programme which will be of specific interest to NHS staff involved in cancer related projects.

This bulletin draws attention to:

• plans for new arrangements to commission and fund molecular tests for cancer
• Government investment in order to enable the development of proton beam therapy services
