The national co-ordination and advisory framework (NCAF) provides robust, flexible response arrangements to emergencies that can be adapted to the type and size of an event.

  1. Updated to the 6th edition of the framework.

  2. Guidance updated and now includes reference to Waste Fire, Wildfire and Flood Tactical advisors.

  3. Updated framework document with April 2019 version.

  4. 3rd edition published - sets out a revised approach to the handling of national fire emergencies and sets out the role and responsibilities of the National Fire Chiefs Council regarding the response arrangements to major incidents and wide area emergencies at home and abroad.
