The national co-ordination and advisory framework (NCAF) provides robust, flexible response arrangements to emergencies that can be adapted to the type and size of an event.

  4. 3rd edition published - sets out a revised approach to the handling of national fire emergencies and sets out the role and responsibilities of the National Fire Chiefs Council regarding the response arrangements to major incidents and wide area emergencies at home and abroad.
