This document sets out the government’s interim economic and non-economic evidence to the Low Pay Commission (LPC) on national minimum wage (NMW) policy issues.

It provides evidence on issues relevant to the LPC’s task of monitoring, evaluating and reviewing the NMW and its impact and making recommendations. It covers the UK economy, evidence on pay, the labour market and the youth labour market.
