Details

NOMS spending over £25,000 data for 2015.

HM Treasury (HMT) require that all central government departments publish monthly data of their spend transactions over £25,000 by the end of the following month.

HMT have set out a format to ensure the data is consistent across government, this format is set out in the field definition guidance.

Over £25,000 transparency spend data are taken from NOMS Phoenix finance system.

As required by HMT, the data relates to accounts payable payment and credit note transactions for grants and procurement spend, recorded at the time the transaction was processed on Phoenix. The data excludes any subsequent journal transactions (eg to make corrections) and accounts receivable receipts.

We do not publish everything and HMT lists transactions not to be included in their guidance on data inclusions and redactions.

We are publishing the data in CSV format in monthly files for the various areas of the Ministry of Justice as explained in the notes on data.
