These documents explain the National Policing Improvement Agency’s (NPIA) structure in detail, as well as the salaries of its senior civil servants.
The report lists all staff at director level and above holding senior civil servant equivalent posts as at 30 June 2010. It includes job title, grade, organisation and salary band.
Directors had the option to withhold their name from publication and so names are included for those who consented.
Explanatory notes
The following staff are excluded:
- staff at pay band 1 and pay band 1A where they are at deputy director or equivalent level or below
- staff on loan or secondment out of the body (regardless of funding arrangement)
- staff numbers are expressed as full-time equivalents (ie 0.5 full-time equivalent is 2.5 days per week)

The salary cost of reports column shows the total salary cost of staff working to senior staff at grade A (senior civil service 1) and above.
