Relates to the powers and duties conferred or imposed under sections 249, 252, and 254 to 258 of Part 9 of the Investigatory Powers Act 2016.

  • the circumstances in which a national security notice can be given
  • the process that must be followed before a notice can be given
  • the obligations that may be imposed by the giving of a notice
  • the ensuing right of review
  • oversight of the use of national security notices
