National Standards for the Management of Offenders provides a set of minimum standards for practitioners and managers. They are published by the Secretary of State under the provisions of the Offender Management Act 2007.

A Competent Workforce to Transform Rehabilitation provides a set of guidelines for the qualifications, training and experience of officers involved in probation services. They are published by the Secretary of State under the provisions of the Offender Management Act 2007.
