This report explores schools’ experiences of the National Tutoring Programme, including schools that have:

  • participated for the first time in year 4
  • participated in year 4 and had used NTP previously
  • not participated in year 4 but had used NTP previously
  • never participated in the NTP

It also explores:

  • the barriers to NTP
  • the implementation of non-NTP support for learning recovery
  • the likelihood to continue tutoring post-NTP
