NATO Summit 2014: Armed Forces Declaration

The UK secured a NATO style military covenant at the NATO summit, strengthening support for armed forces.

Details

NATO heads of state and government agreed the Armed Forces Declaration on 4 September 2014. This recognises the contribution that men and women in the armed forces make, and sets out a commitment to support them and their families.
