The report covers the activities of the group in the past year in considering ethical issues around the operation of the database, and makes four recommendations. These include independent audit and scrutiny of the Counter-Terrorism DNA Database (CTDNAD), and a systematic review of error rates in the collection and forensic use of DNA in the criminal justice system.
