Following the closure of the non-domestic renewable heat incentive (NDRHI) to new applications on 31 March 2021, participants with accredited shared ground loop (SGL) installations (or installations that would become defined as such following modification of capacity) have been, subject to certain conditions, able to modify the capacity of their installations.
This application route for existing participants closed on 31 March 2023, as required by regulations. The Secretary of State has decided that no further budget will be allocated to shared ground loop modified capacity applications.
