1. Offer NIPE infant examination
Go to question 2.
2. Is examination accepted?
Yes: Carry out examination. Go to question 3.
No: Refer to NIPE handbook clinical guidance. End of pathway.
3. Is abnormality or risk factor suspected or identified?
Yes: Refer to NIPE handbook clinical guidance. End of pathway.
No: Follow the healthy child programme guidance. End of pathway.
