The Environment Agency has received an application to vary (change) an environmental permit under the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 from Collins Earthworks Limited.
The proposed variation may significantly increase the risk from waste operations.

1.16.14 The site is currently permitted for physical treatment of non-hazardous waste treating inert and excavated wastes to produce a range of soils and aggregates. This variation is to add a new activity, physical and chemical treatment of non-hazardous waste, which will enable the site to wash certain non-hazardous waste types to produce cleaner types of aggregates.
