The NHS Improvement remit letter for 2016/17 sets out the strategic objectives for the organisation around the:

  • NHS budget
  • delivery of safe, high quality care
  • NHS operational performance
  • alignment with the Five Year Forward View
  • NHS leadership

The letter sets out the role of NHS Improvement, working with others to provide sustainable, continually improving healthcare for all.
