NKT HVC Limited: applications made to abstract water

NKT HVC Limited has applied to the Environment Agency for four licences.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of these applications in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.
The applications are for a full licence to abstract water from; River Gipping, River Fynn, River Lark and Mill River. The licence numbers are AN/035/0008/025, AN/035/0010/044, AN/035/0007/008 and AN/035/0007/007.
The applications will abstract water as follows at each location:

48 cubic metres an hour

4,272 cubic metres a year
-
until completion of the cable laying works.
The water will be used for dust suppression during installation of a new cable.
Further details are abstraction at each site will be through use of a bowsers with the capacity of 8 cubic metres.
