This guidance on non-disclosure applications was revised in March 2024.

This guide has been prepared to assist Parole Board members to deal with a non-disclosure application – an application by the Secretary of State or an authorised third party for a direction that a particular piece of sensitive evidence to be considered by a Parole Board panel should be withheld from the prisoner (and in exceptional cases, from their representatives).

This replaces all previous Parole Board guidance on non-disclosure.
