This guidance is to support non-domestic electricity suppliers to deliver the Alternative Fuel Payment (ND AFP) to eligible customers. The ND AFP scheme forms part of the government’s cost of living assistance package for non-domestic consumers over winter 2022 to 2023.

The ND AFP provides non-domestic users of alternative fuels with a £150 payment. For identified eligible customers with a relationship with a non-domestic supplier, this will be delivered by electricity suppliers in February and March 2023. These customers do not need to apply for this payment.
