A public consultation is seeking views on a proposed North Sea and Channel sprat FMP.
The North Sea and Channel sprat FMP is a joint plan between Defra and the Scottish Government. It will cover UK waters of the North Sea and Channel.
The FMP will be prepared and published to meet the requirements set out in the Fisheries Act 2020.

Areas covered
The North Sea and Channel sprat FMP will cover English and Scottish waters in the North Sea and Channel – International Council for the Exploration of the Sea (ICES) divisions 4, 7d and 7e.
