​The sixth commissioners’ report sets out the good progress made so far to put the council in good shape pending the restructure. The report acknowledges the challenges faced by the council, including responding to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the commissioners take the view that the council is capable of achieving the priorities they have set for it. ​

Ministerial response to the Northamptonshire commissioners’ sixth report to the Secretary of State

The response from the Minister of State for Local Government welcomes the commissioners’ sixth report and notes the progress that they have made in turning round the council.
