Details

The notice of rights and entitlements sets out a person’s rights and entitlements while in police detention, and is issued in accordance with PACE Code C, paragraph 3.2.

An easy read guide and a version for young people are also available.

The 2018 version, 2014 version and the 2011 version of this document are available in the National Archives.

A guide to the changes in the 2019 revised Code C and H is available and can be read alongside the 2018 Code H.
