The Export Control Organisation has published a new open general export licence, exports in support of Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) TF-X programme.

The purpose of this open general export licence (OGEL) is to allow the export or transfer of goods, software or technology for the Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) TF-X Programme from the United Kingdom to Turkey.

This OGEL can only be used by exporters who supply military goods, software and technology in relation the design, development, manufacture, trials or testing of TF-X.

In order to use this licence you must have documentary proof on file, and before first using this licence provide a copy to the Export Control Organisation, that the export or transfer is for the design, development or manufacture, trials and testing of TF-X.

0.1 In-force date

This licence comes into force on Friday 28 July. The OGEL has been published today (26 July) to allow exporters time to read and understand the terms and conditions of the licence before it comes into force.
