Notice to exporters 2018/24: Annex 1 of EU regulation 428/2009 (list of dual use controlled items) to be updated soon
Published 13 December 2018
The non-objection period for the Council and European Parliament to comment on Commission Delegated Regulation (COM (2018) 6511) of 10 October 2018, amending Annex 1 to Council Regulation (EC) 428/2009 expired on 10 December 2018.
This means that we can now expect the Commission to publish this new Regulation in the Official Journal of the European Union in the coming weeks (date to be confirmed). This will update the control list (Annex 1) to reflect the changes previously agreed in the international export control regimes.
We will publish a further notice to exporters when the regulation has been published, together with associated changes to open general export licences.
Details of the changes to the annex have been published on the European Commission’s website.
