NTE 2024/22: second quarter compound settlement

Introduction
Between April and June 2024, HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) issued compound settlement offers to two UK exporters totalling in excess of £348,000.
These settlements relate to unlicensed exports of military listed goods, dual-use goods and related activity controlled by The Export Control Order 2008 and Retained Regulation 428/2009.
The 2 settlements made by UK companies were:
- April 2024 - £258,000 was paid relating to the unlicensed transfer of dual-use goods controlled by Retained Regulation 428/2009.
- June 2024 - £90,853.20 was paid relating to the unlicensed exports of military goods controlled by The Export Control Order 2008.
