Details

On 2 August 2024, Ofqual issued NCFE with a notice requiring it to pay a fine of £300,000. Ofqual had previously given notice that it intended to impose a fine on NCFE, following a settlement agreement. The Notice of Intention was published on 9 July 2024.

Also on 2 August 2024, Ofqual issued NCFE with a notice requiring it to pay costs of £10,000. NCFE has agreed to pay these costs, which relate to the decision to impose the fine of £300,000.
