It also describes the measures and wider framework in place to prevent and limit an incursion of notifiable avian disease.

It is the aim of this strategy that all affected during an outbreak of notifiable avian disease will be able to be better prepared to respond quickly and effectively to controls and limit the outbreak, thereby mitigating the likely impact of the control measures described.
