Details

When an application is made to the Biometrics Commissioner to retain biometric material under s.63G Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984, the subject of that application must be notified.

This document is a sample version of the letter which should be sent by the responsible chief officer of police notifying the subject of the application and the reasons on which the chief officer of police seeks to rely.
