The strategy sets out the MOD’s high level approaches for managing the nuclear materials, fuel, sites, facilities, submarines and radioactive waste resulting from the defence nuclear programme. It provides the basis for a coherent approach to decommissioning and disposal activities relating to the UK’s nuclear weapon and nuclear submarine programmes.
