From April 2012 to March 2013, 231 people (229 male and 2 female) returned via the Voluntary Assisted Return and Reintegration Programme (VARRP). In this period there were 397 applications.
No children departed via the VARRP scheme, however it should be noted that children would normally return under the Assisted Voluntary Returns for Families and Children (AVRFC) programme.
The figures quoted have been derived from management information and are therefore provisional and subject to change. This information has not been quality assured under National Statistics protocols.
