Details

Front of pack nutrition labelling scheme provides the information that food and drink companies can put on the front of their packaging in the form of: energy (kiloJoules and kilocalories) only, or energy plus fat, saturates, sugars and salt. The UK 2013 voluntary scheme recommends a format for this information that uses colour coding and percentage ‘reference intakes’.
