Oxford, Cambridge and RSA Examinations (OCR) Marking of history and English A levels Undertaking accepted Closed 7 August 2015

Following the summer 2013 exams OCR identified a problem with the marking of their history and English A levels. We carried out a detailed investigation, and OCR provided an undertaking which sets out the steps it will take to ensure compliance with the ‘General Conditions of Recognition’ for exams in 2014.

In line with general condition B8, OCR must now take all the steps identified in the undertaking. We will review whether OCR has followed through on its commitments by 1 December 2014, and can take further action if it doesn’t.
