Ofcom (the Office of Communications) is the regulator for the UK communications industries, with responsibilities across television, radio, telecommunications and wireless communications services, under the provisions of the Communications Act 2003.

This is the agency’s annual report and accounts for the year April 2008 to March 2009, covering its core areas of activity, operating and financial performance, and corporate governance issues.

This paper was laid before Parliament in response to a legislative requirement or as a Return to an Address and was ordered to be printed by the House of Commons.
