Details

This review concluded that the OEP has plans and processes in place to meet the Cabinet Office’s minimum requirements for an arm’s length body (ALB). Since the OEP only became operational in January 2022, there is limited evidence available for a stage 2 (independent) review at this time.

We have set out 12 recommendations, outlined in the report.

These relate to:

  • efficacy
  • efficiency
  • governance
  • accountability

The Efficiency and Value for Money (EVFM) Committee will be duly informed of the outcome of this review.
