Research by the Office for National Statistics (ONS) and Disability Unit on how accessibility compares for disabled and non-disabled people experiences with private sector activities, goods, products and services across the UK. These reports aim to address a knowledge gap and inform policy and practice.

This was released by ONS in July 2022 with a blog in September 2022.

The qualitative research included in-depth interviews conducted with disabled people aged 18 years and over, with a range of characteristics across the UK. 

The quantitative analysis from the Opinions and Lifestyle Survey (OPN) looked at access to activities, products and services using large-scale survey data for Great Britain.
