The Office for Nuclear Regulation (ONR) is Great Britain’s independent nuclear regulatory authority. It was set up by the Energy Act 2013 to regulate nuclear safety, security and conventional health and safety at licensed nuclear sites in the UK.

We published our separate Office for Nuclear Regulation strategic plan 2016 to 2020 in 2016.
