On 9 August 2024, OFSI issued General Licence INT/2024/5028385 under regulation 64 of the Russia (Sanctions) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019 (“the Russia Regulations”) which allows payments and other permitted activities to take place in relation to the insolvency proceedings associated with East-West United Bank.
