The OIM’s code of conduct sets out the general obligations of the OIM Panel Chair and OIM Panel Members.

Details
The United Kingdom Internal Market Act 2020 (‘the Act’) provides for an OIM Panel made up of the OIM Panel Chair (‘Chair’) and OIM Panel Members (‘Members’). The Chair may, as necessary, set up OIM task groups consisting of Members to undertake the OIM’s work in line with any authorisation from the CMA. In exercising those functions a task group must act independently of the CMA Board.
The Code sets out the responsibilities of the Chair and Members when exercising their functions across a range of matters including conflicts of interest, use of information and complaints handling.
