Details

This document outlines the standards relating to the Driver and Vehicle Data Management System (DVDMS), required by the Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO) and the National Association of Police Fleet Managers (NAPFM), in relation to providing a data management system for vehicle and driver telematics.

Its aim is to ensure commonality of approach to provision of telematics for the police, together with providing a management tool to underpin safe and efficient driving standards for organisations and staff. This approach is likely to deliver cost efficiencies across the police service as well improving driver behaviour and reducing collisions.
