Details

This open general export licence (OGEL) allows the export or transfer of goods, software or technology for the Joint Strike Fighter (F-35 Lightning II) (JSF) Programme from the UK to any of the destinations or countries listed in this licence. This includes re-exporting goods, software or technology to and from permitted destinations, even if they have been incorporated into other products.

  1. The current OGL has been revoked and a new one updated to remove Turkey from the list of partner nations and adds Belgium, Czech Republic, Finland, Germany, Singapore, and Switzerland as export customers. Also adds Luxembourg, New Zealand, Spain, and Sweden as countries which may develop, produce, trial, or test or use items. Provides revised contact details for the Ministry of Defence (MOD) Defence Equipment and Support Principal Security Adviser (DES PSyA)

  2. Title of revoked licence amended to (in force from December 2020).

  3. The existing OGEL has been revoked and amended to reduce the scope of exports to Israel.
