Details

At the CMA’s request, M&S has reviewed all of its land agreements. The CMA has found that 10 of these agreements were not compliant with the Groceries Market Investigation (Controlled Land) Order 2010.

M&S has taken, and continues to take, steps to correct these breaches and the CMA has published a letter sent to M&S following its investigation of these breaches.

These breaches concern land agreements relating to 10 M&S stores in:

  • Imperial Wharf, London
  • Kingston upon Thames (on 3 separate occasions)
  • Oatlands, Harrogate
  • Pontarddulais
  • Guiseley
  • Uddingston, Glasgow
  • Ilkeston
  • Ocean Terminal, Leith
