At the Competition and Market Authority (CMA)’s request, Waitrose has reviewed all its land agreements and found that 7 of these were not compliant with the Groceries Market Investigation (Controlled Land) Order 2010.

Waitrose has taken steps to correct these breaches and the CMA has published a letter sent to Waitrose following the investigation of these breaches.

These breaches concerned land agreements around 7 Waitrose stores in:

  • Bromsgrove
  • Rustington
  • Swindon
  • Daventry
  • Chester
  • Notting Hill Gate
  • Market Harborough
