Details

The EIC (Energy Industries Council), in partnership with the British Embassy Caracas (UKTI) is organising an oil & gas trade mission in Venezuela to take place in Caracas (25-26 Nov) and Puerto La Cruz (27-29 Nov).

Delegates will have the opportunity to attend organised group meetings with key local players, as well as incorporating briefing meetings presented by qualified speakers with in-market experience and the opportunity to meet with local companies.

Venezuela has the world’s largest proven reserves of crude oil and has investment plans to develop its strategic oil and gas reserves and infrastructure by 2021 to a total of more than US$ 200 billion.

Petróleos de Venezuela S.A. (PDVSA), the country’s state-run oil and natural gas company, dominates the market. There are a wide range of oil and gas opportunities through PDVSA and a growing number of linked infrastructure projects.

Venezuelan companies interested in attending the meetings please contact Commercial.Caracas@fco.gov.uk.
