Paradise Wildlife Park Limited has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.
The application is to renew and vary licence serial number TH/038/0008/011/R02, originally TH/038/0008/011/R01, which authorises the abstraction of water from the Underground strata comprising of confined chalk at Paradise Wildlife Park, Broxbourne, Hertfordshire at National Grid Reference TL 33940 06914.
The variation applied for is: increase the daily quantity from 28 cubic metres to 80 cubic metres per day, and the annual quantity from 10,000 cubic metres to 30,000 cubic metres per year.
