The aim of the Environment Agency’s national flood and coastal erosion risk management (FCERM) strategy for England is to ensure that the risk of flooding and coastal erosion is properly managed and coordinated to minimise its impact.
This is a short case study to showcase partnership working as set out in the national FCERM strategy. Specifically how a number of organisations joined together to tackle flooding problems in Poole, achieving a range of benefits for the environment and local communities.
