The Royal Prerogative has been used on 14 occasions between April 2013 to June 2014 but note that this figure is for both withdrawal and refusal on public interest grounds.
Of the overall number of passports that have been withdrawn (removed) since April 2013 and October 2014 the number withdrawn (removed) under the Royal Prerogative is 2310.
Please note that this figure includes withdrawal of passport facilities as a result of the passport either being issued in error or was acquired by fraudulent means.
