Details

This publication contains data on the volume and composition of growing media supplied to the UK amateur and professional use horticultural markets. The data and a full report on this research can be found on the Growing Media Association website.

It contributes to the monitoring of progress of the ambition set out in the Natural Environment White Paper to reduce the horticultural use of peat to zero by 2030. It also supports the roadmap towards sustainable growing media. For further details see: Growing media policy.
