Permitted development rights: response to the Select Committee report

Details

The Levelling Up, Housing and Communities Select Committee undertook an inquiry in 2021 on permitted development rights. Their July 2021 report made a number of recommendations in respect of permitted development rights, Article 4 directions and use classes etc.

Alongside the introduction of the Levelling Up and Regeneration Bill and the government response to the Select Committee report on The Future of Planning, the government has now published its response to these recommendations.
