We commissioned IFF Research to compile this research so we can ensure that claimants of the Personal Independence Payment (PIP) are central to the initiative’s design and development.

The report findings illustrate the first part of an ongoing programme of research. This strand consisted of 21 focus groups and 46 face-to-face in-depth interviews.

The research was conducted in September and October 2011.
