Details

This guidance is designed to help those who intend to make an application for development consent under the Act to determine how the provisions in respect of associated development apply to their proposals.

A public consultation was launched in April 2012 for the Light Touch Review of the 6 guidance documents underpinning The Planning Act 2008. The guidance on associated development applications has been amended to take account of the Localism Act 2011 amendments, and to provide clarity on what constitutes associated development. The guidance is further improved with 2 annexes with examples of the type of development that may qualify as associated development.
