PM's letter to small businesses on Employment Allowance

David Cameron has written to nearly 2 million businesses and charities encouraging them to check their eligibility for Employment Allowance.

Details

The Employment Allowance comes into effect on 6 April 2014 - giving 1.25 million businesses and charities up to £2,000 off their National Insurance contributions.

In order to raise awareness about the Employment Allowance, the Prime Minister has written to nearly 2 million businesses and charities to get them to check if they are entitled to the cash back - which most businesses can claim by simply ticking a box on their payroll software when they submit it.
