In accordance with the Government policy of reviewing primary legislation within three to five years of receiving Royal Assent, the Cabinet Office has carried out the post-legislative scrutiny of the Statistics and Registration Service Act 2007 to determine how far it has achieved its original aims and objectives.
 
This Memorandum, as a Command Paper to the Public Administration Select Committee, sets out the findings.
